My name is Eva-Maria Schinko and my birthday is 29th November 1980. I am a publicly appointed and sworn translator. I realised that working with people with different backgrounds and nationalities is important to me through several stays abroad. For this reason I wanted to share my knowledge of languages, whether that be teaching adults or private tuition for students. I founded my own language and private tuition school in October 2010 and since 2014 I have been supported by my motivated team of teachers.
I particularly enjoy the different challenges that I face in my lessons every day. At Lernen-im-Allgäu everyone has the possibility to learn something new, regardless if you are managers in senior position refreshing your English speaking skills or an employee from a different country learning about German culture and the German language. For you, as well as students taking examinations, there are no limits to your learning.
My name is Stefan and I have been teaching maths and physics at "Lernen im Allgäu“ since 2015. During my time at school I really enjoyed these two subjects. In a relaxed environment I would like to help you improve your grades and in a clear and lively way deepen your knowledge too.
I like spending my leisure time hiking in the mountains and riding my motorbike.
I have a degree in Language Sciences. I have been employed as a private lecturer for English, French, Italian, German and Romanian since 1998.
As a child what I loved most was the world of languages. I grew up with Romanian and German; therefore it has always been easy for me to learn new foreign languages.
I will support you on your journey learning a new language and culture and hope to be able to infect you with my own enthusiasm.
my name is Max, I am in my early 30s and live in Kempten. I made an apprenticeship as a foreign language correspondent and studied to become a state-approved translator. My main profession is to work in the sales department of a company, which has a strong export orientation. Foreign languages have always been a passion and I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with you.
My name is Hilary and I’ve been part of the LiA team since Nov. 2017. I come from Scotland and have been living in the Allgäu since 1985. I graduated from Glasgow University with an M.A. in Modern Languages & I’ve been teaching English as a Foreign Language since 1999. I always enjoy the opportunity to speak my native language and to help my students with their conversation skills as well as with any problems they may have with English grammar.
Hello I'm Andrea.
As a graduate chemist (FH) my world is that of natural sciences. For 10 years I have been in charge of midday/afternoon care in a primary school. It is great pleasure for me to show the students how to learn. Structure in working, joy in learning and confidence in success are the best companions in school. I would like to show you that these three helpers slumber within you and only want to be awakened. In my spare time I like to be outdoors, both in summer and winter.
My name is Eva and I have been living in the Allgäu since 2015. I studied cultural management in Passau, then went to Birmingham, UK and stayed there for seven years. Thanks to my studies I have travelled the world a lot. One thing is for sure: language is the key to a culture. This is where my passion for language learning and teaching came from. I have been with LiA since 2018 and try to pass this joy on to my students for German and English. I like to spend my free time with culture as well as in nature.
Hi, I'm Julia.
I was born and grew up in the Allgäu. When I was 16 years old I felt the urge to travel for the first time and I spent several months with a host family in Australia and went to school there. My studies were also all about languages and cultures. My semester abroad in Chile was special and unforgettable. I love the mountains and try to spend as much time as possible there in summer and winter and so I came back to the Allgäu after my studies. I still like to travel and feel really at home abroad when I speak the local language so well that my sense of humour is also recognizable, because this is the way to get closer to the locals. That drives me and gives me great pleasure to bring this passion closer to others. I have been with LiA since the beginning of 2019 and try to teach my students German and English with humour and fun.
