Who will feel at home here?
DeutschMeister A1 is a different kind of course, a personal one, and that is exactly what makes it special. Here you can quickly check whether we are a good fit.
A good fit for you
| ✓ | You are a complete beginner or want to start again from scratch, with correct grammar and pronunciation. |
| ✓ | Personal contact matters to you. You want a real person behind the course, not just a platform. |
| ✓ | You value a personal start (onboarding) and a final conversation (offboarding). |
| ✓ | You want more than grammar: real tips for everyday life, insights into German culture and a feel for the German mentality. |
| ✓ | You look forward to meeting other learners online in live sessions. |
| ✓ | Your English is at B1 to B2 level, enough to follow a bilingual course comfortably. |
Probably not the right choice
| – | You prefer a completely anonymous learning experience without personal contact. This course is deliberately different. |
| – | You are looking for a quick app without structure and without a contact person. |
| – | Your English is below B1. The bilingual structure would then probably be too demanding. |
Why bilingual? English as a support language helps beginners understand grammar much faster and build a good basic vocabulary. Your English doesn’t need to be perfect.

★★★★★
Creative and Unique A1 German Language Course
I liked the novel way in which the course unfolded and how the material was introduced. All of the basics of A1 are presented in culturally relevant and fun scenarios with creative dialog that makes the necessary memorization and grammar easier to understand and remember. The course has a perfect balance between learning ease and challenge, keeping the material accessible but never boring. I highly recommend this course.

From ZERO to HERO
As someone with zero prior experience in the German language, I can confidently say that the Pro course is extremely effective. It provides a clear understanding of the fundamentals and builds a strong foundation for future progress toward fluency.
The most important factor, however, is the teacher. Eva-Maria is incredibly friendly and has a rare ability to genuinely connect with people. From our very first meeting, it was clear that she is deeply passionate about what she does and fully committed to supporting her students and celebrating their progress.

The Perfect Combination of Flexibility and Quality
I had a fantastic experience learning German with Eva in Learning in Allgäu. The teaching approach was engaging, supportive, and incredibly effective, helping me gain confidence in speaking German much faster than I expected. I often receive compliments on my German skills — something I credit to the quality of teaching I received.
The online course has now become the right addition for my current stage of life. With a much busier schedule balancing work, family, and raising a child, the flexibility to practice whenever it suits me is decisive. At the same time, the live support sessions keep me motivated, accountable, and continuously improving. It’s a great combination of flexibility and high-quality teaching, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it.
